Prices in AUD, and these are today’s. Photo ID on pickup — no bond, no card hold. 3–6 day hires priced between the weekend and week rates. Board rates are higher in peak season, set by the day your hire starts — so a hire booked now for later may quote differently. Wetsuits cost the same all year.

Soft-tops are $15 an hour or $45 for the day. The glassed boards — the 6'8 fish and the 6'0 Al Merrick — are $20 an hour, $60 a day. Leg rope, wax and soft roof racks are included, and rates rise 20% over the summer season (October – March).
Turn up. We're on Sir Thomas Mitchell Road from 6am to 6pm, seven days, and there's almost always a board free. Message us on WhatsApp if you want one held — worth doing on a summer weekend.
From about December to April the water sits in the low twenties and most people surf in boardshorts. Through winter it drops to around 18°C — cold enough that an hour is a long time without one. We hire wetsuits with any board.
A soft-top, and we'll settle the size when you're standing in front of us — that's the only place anyone can judge it properly. Foam is forgiving, floats well and doesn't hurt when it hits you. The 8'0 will have you standing up on your first go.
By the hour, the half day, the day or the week. There's 20 minutes' grace on top of whatever you took it for — past that the hire is simply re-priced into the next bracket, usually a few dollars. We don't charge late fees.
After your surf. We send a payment link when the board's back, or you can settle up at the shop. Nothing is taken up front.
48 Sir Thomas Mitchell Road, Bondi Beach — a minute's walk from the north end of the sand. Walk the board straight down. If you're driving somewhere else, the soft roof racks come with the hire.
Check before you come: we publish the live Bondi swell, wind and water temperature on the surf page, updated through the day. A small, clean day is the best day to learn on a foamie anyway.
